Bad weekend in Enduro World Series

The third round of the Enduro World Series took place last weekend in Valloire, between the famous Télégraphe and Galibier passes. It was thus a French style race, with two days of long stages, without practice except a single non-stop run. In the first stage already, I can feel that the weekend will be hard for me. Dust, heat and long flat pedaling sections aren't my favorite conditions. I anyway push hard to stay in the top 10. However my hope goes away in the last stage of day 1. My pedal hit a rock. I fly a few meters away and smash my hand against another stone. Impossible to keep riding... Back home it luckily appears that nothing is broken! Holding an handlebar is however impossible for a while and I won't be able to ride the European DH cup in Val di Sole. I hope to be back in the game for the Enduro European Series in two weeks and above all for the World Enduro the next week!
